This award recognizes the lifetime efforts which emulate bravery, sacrifice and perseverance, all of which have resulted in the advancement of Hispanics in law enforcement. |
IRMA RUIZ AWARD OF VALOR
Criteria: This award is presented to individuals whom have exhibited a selfless act of heroism in the line of duty |
MERIT AWARD
Criteria: This award is presented to individuals who, through their leadership, commitment and dedication to their profession, have made great contributions toward the advancement of Hispanics and serve as positive role models. You may nominate up to three individuals in this category. |
COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD Criteria: This award is presented to individuals who, while maintaining exceptional on-the-job performance, have made a significant impact on the community through volunteerism. |
NUEVA GENERACION AWARD Criteria: This award is presented to individuals whom have four or less years of sworn experience and, through their leadership commitment and dedication to their profession, have made great contributions to law enforcement and the community, and serve as positive role models. |
