911 Communications Operator
Gurnee, IL Police Department
Requires HS diploma/equiv, 1 year public safety dispatch exp, ability to type
20-30 wpm, and multi-tasking ability. Responsible for 911 emergency call
taking and dispatching for police and fire dept. and fire district. CAD
and EMD exp. helpful but not required.
Work schedule is 12 hour shift, full benefits (health, dental, life, retirement,
uniforms, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, sick, personal, holiday time),
starting annual base salary $35,846 ($17.23/hour).
