Duties and Responsibilities

The Lake Bluff Police Department provides a variety of law enforcement services.  Enforcement of state laws and local ordinances: identification and apprehension of offenders, locating witnesses, interviewing, written reports on assignments, attending court and testifying. Lake Bluff Police Officers do building checks of businesses and residential areas noting any irregularities.  We also administer first aid to the injured, assist the elderly and disabled.  These are some responsibilities that are required of a Lake Bluff Police Officer,  but is not limited to.
