West Chicago, a
rapidly growing community located on the western edge of the Chicago metro area,
is currently testing for the position of police officer. This position
requires a high level of public contact using tact, courtesy and good judgment.
Strong emphasis is on community policing and related programs. Minimum
qualifications: at least 21 years of age as of march 15, 2001; Us Citizen; high
school graduate or equivalent; passing score on required testing procedures;
successful completion of background investigation and psychological evaluation.
Position requires valid driver's license. Applications are required and
