PURPOSE |
The
Members of the Hispanic Illinois State Law Enforcement Association offer
this scholarship to assist Hispanic College students in achieving their
educational goals.

SCHOLARSHIP
CRITERIA |
Applicants
must meet the following criteria: |
1. |
Be currently
enrolled full-time (12 credit hours or more) at an Illinois State Junior
College, College, or University; |
2. |
have cumulative GPA of at least 3.0; |
3. |
demonstrate leadership qualities, as well as community involvement;

SPECIFICS |
To
apply, complete the attached application and submit the following: |
1. |
A letter describing your experiences within the Hispanic community,
your educational and career goals, your community service and
extracurricular activities, and how this scholarship will help you
achieve your goals; |
2. |
a copy of your current transcript; |
3. |
One
letter of recommendation from a school counselor or professor.

letter is equivalent of a personal interview, it should be concise, clear and to
